Mis-leading- these are not mini glosses yet just 3 one-time use finger samples. Love City Beauty and their product but this one threw me off. Very similar to the free samples you get with other brand orders.
This ought to be a free sample. Imagine my surprise when I received my order and thought my 3 shade sampler, that I paid $10 for was missing from the box. Wait- no- it is literally 3 dots of lip gloss on a sample CARD, not 3 sample sized tubes of lip gloss. This is like the free sample of foundation you might get for free from Sephora or Ulta. Absolutely ridiculous. Save your money, ladies. Sorry- I paid a lot of money for my order- this should have been included as a free sample/thank you. Will not be ordering again. I feel cheated.
Can't believe all the glowing reviews. This is the worst mascara I've ever used. The wand is too long and not tapered making application difficult. It clumps causing lashes to stick together. If you don't use a grooming tool right away to separate them the lashes are glued together. It flakes. It smudges. I look like a racoon the next morning. I can't recommend it.
This Sampler is miniscule and not worth $10. Very disappointed. They come in a 3 pack of very small rounds. These should be included for free as an actual promotional sample.
I have been a City Beauty customer for years. I have never had a problem with a product until now. This product made my skin break out in blisters. It took a while for my skin to get back to normal after stopping it. I have emailed City Beauty about this on 4 separate occasions and have not received a response. I am very disappointed as you say we can receive refunds; however, this is evidently not true. I will not be able to order from you any more if I don't receive a response.
This lip gloss does not plump your lips it is honestly the same quality you can get from the dollar tree. I was so disappointed. It smell is chemical smelling. I bought 2 tubes.
I have used your product for years and we both know it is not a cheap product, there are other products much less expensive.. I didn't want to complain but I have stopped using it as I am finding it is not giving me any results and when I first started using it was amazing but now it's just a gloss?? What do you recommend I do as I have always purchased with your company and found you are reputable and trustworthy and I hold in high esteem
I wanted to live this product. Some people said it did nothing, but I refuse to listen to their opinions. With that said, I purchased it and have used it day and night. NOTHING happened. I will not say it was a waste of money, I do like using it at night and over my lipstick, but it did not deliver what it said it would do.
I absolutely LOVE my lip gloss. Won't ever go back to lip liner again! But I ordered this thinking it would be more than a small pod of lip gloss and I believe it should be considered a sample and not $10. I am a loyal customer but I believe honest reviews can be helpful.
This sampler pack is a total waste of money. The samples are so small that they don't even give you one full use. At over $3.00 per sample you should get more than a dot. This is the worst sampler I've ever purchased. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money. Go to Sephora where they give you free samples.
recently purchased the City Lights Lip Plumping Sampler, expecting three small bottles of gloss as depicted in the product image. Unfortunately, this was misleading. The product arrived in a large box but contained only a piece of cardboard with minuscule gloss samples, akin to those given for free at malls. For $28 for two samplers, this was profoundly disappointing, as it held barely enough gloss for a couple of uses. Attempting to return the product proved futile; instead, I was offered more of the same unsatisfactory samples. This experience was entirely unsatisfactory, and if possible, I would rate it lower than one star.
I used the City Lips twice a day for over 6 months. Went through both tubes without any visible change. I'll give it 2 stars because it is a nice gloss, it just didn't plump anything!
Can't believe I paid $30 Australian dollars and received the sample trio on a card, I didn't even try them they weren't big enough I just threw it in the bin I will never try anything else from this company
Be warned! Read the entire description! I did not! I thought these were true sample size glosses in tiny bottles. They are literally microscopic dots of each color. Barely enough to review the color!! Smaller than a free sample you might be handed in a department store. Learn from my mistake. No one should pay $10, plus shipping for this. It's really just a promotional giveaway!! Don't do it!!
This product does what it says, but, I found it to be extremely drying. I have some flakiness under my eyes. I have been using it religiously morning and night. I'm afraid I'm going to have to stop using it.
I've seen No results, and was billed for 3 clear when I only ordered 1 clear gloss. I'm super upset, emailed you guys days ago and got back an email saying you were sending me 3 colored glossed with an order confirmation and EVERYTHING!! What the heck? Customer service needs to get it together, Shadaysha is great but whoever is receiving and composing the messages and placing and shipping orders that don't exist, VERY NOT COOL! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND IM EXTREMLY DISSALOINYED and seems how I cannot teach a customer service rep SOMEONE AT CITY BEAUTY PLEASE HELP ME [email protected] thank you.
I ordered two tubes of this to try in January 2024. All it does is make your lips an ugly mess, does not plump them at all. Then the beginning of February I received an email from them that specifically states WE have renewed your subscription. I should've returned the first two tubes but figured it was my bad. Two tubes cost over $60 and they have now shipped me two more. I called them. It didn't show it was shipped yet and they refused to stop the shipment. Do NOT buy this crap. I am attaching their email saying WE renewed your subscription.
it says you get full refund . i purchased city lips ( didn't work 1 big and only got a partial refund a week after buying it . what if this lip wrinkle doesn't work either
Watched video and decided to try. Well, I have tried and it failed. Not only does it not plump anything, it also smells like dead fish, so I can't even use it as a lip gloss and call it a day...No, this was like throwing money straight down the toilet!
If you care about "clean" products then I would not recommend this product. I use the "Yuka" app to tell me what ingredients are in all of my skin care and food products and this City Beauty lip gloss rated a 0 out of 100 (see the attached picture). I was excited to try this but ended up returning it since it's especially important what we put on our lips since inevitably we will end up eating what we put on our lips. I hope City Beauty considers changing their ingredients to cleaner products!!
