I'm 72 years young and have used City Lips as directed for over a month. While it is definitely moisturizing, there is no difference in the plumpness of my lips, nor is there any change in the age lines above and below lips. The only difference is that my wallet is now as thin as my lips.
The only I gave 1 star is because I can't give 0. I have contact customer support twice with no response in regards to a refund. This is an overpriced cheap lip gloss. 1. No tingle. 2. No plump effect. 3. No fine line reduction effect. Super disappointed.
I really love city lips clear and I believe I would love the sheer colors but this more opaque, solid lip product is a sticky, gooey, gloppy mess. I will try to return this and instead ordered a pink shade in a sheer lip product.
First I didn't receive my order at all then when I thought customer service had resolved problem l was sent the wrong order. I called & a very nice young lady was unable to "access" the internet special of $20 each that I'd originally ordered after the $25 dollar special on the clear. It was a splurge so now I'd have to pay for return shipping. Again, VERY disappointed!
I tried to order this and the company took the money from my account but never gave me a confirmation number or email saying I had purchased it. I contacted the company and they told me that I needed to contact my bank rather than try to fix it and track my order.
I was so excited to find this product on Facebook and after purchasing 2 tubes of the lip plumper, I didn't see any difference in my lips so I just returned the product for a full refund. Disappointed-for the price I paid, I would have expected more positive results.
I bought four clear city lips and they were so dry It's was awful I write an email to Victoria and got NOTHING back I was a true believer of city lips but now I don't think I will ever but it again So basically Customerservice was bad and so was the product
Customer service is AWESOME!!! The product, however, was not! Well, not for me! Intense burning/tingling upon first application. I thought it might get better, so I used it for 2 days. My lips did plump up, but they were also red (as in extremely chapped and irritated)!!!! I must be allergic to one of the ingredients! But again, great customer service!
I think I paid over $30 to get this. And don't waste your money because it does not work it's not even as good as a lip gloss and you feel no tingling sensation whatsoever so it's a hoax and I think it's socially unacceptable for your company to cheat women who want to get plumper lips. I did not see one bit of difference and I ended up losing it and I said so be my $30. Stop selling it because it doesn't doesn't work. You must have had those women a lot of money to come on and advertise for you which I call cheating
I am not satisfied with the lip gloss. I have been using it close to 2 weeks. Always having to replenish it and not seeing any different with my lips.
This lip gloss did absolutely nothing! Did not do anything what the product and company claims to do! Very disappointed! Also it tends to collect in the corners of your mouth.
I wouldn't give one star right now if that were an option ! I'm beginning to wonder how customer care is because I have been waiting 3 months to order, but apparently "currently out of stock" really means "never going to be in stock"
Love the product, customer service not so much. I've contacted customer service twice over the past two months, returned a product for a different color and have not heard from them at all. I shouldn't have to make a phone call - or post a bad review to get a response.
The applicator isn't long enough to reach the bottom...it's like vasoline goop and doesn't spread easily, too thick. No way will it last for 30 days. No directions are enclosed. I'm glad that I only ordered ONE. Shame on you people!
I would give this zero stars since it definitely doesn't plump as promised and the formula is thick and sticky. Not comfortable to wear and doesn't stay on more than 20 minutes. Similar to $3 drugstore brands.
I got it, hopeful. I think I have to stop buying things on Facebook promising the "fix". It just made my lips look like they were having a reaction, redness outside my lip area. The stickiness is unappealing. I gave it several tries and then figured it wasn't gonna get better.

Saw all of the "free of" advertisements for this, but they failed to mention it contains Ferric Ferrocyanide, though widely used is known that it can induce DNA fragmentation in vivo, suggesting it may have genotoxic effects. I loved the lip gloss, but I won't risk my health with more hidden chemicals. Do better.
I just received my City Beauty City Lips in clear. Literally have had it on for all of 10 minutes and my lips are burning and bright red! Even the area above my lips is red and inflamed. What the heck is in this stuff??? I'm super upset and disappointed to say the least!
The way that it is pictured leads you to believe you will receive MINI SAMPLE TUBES of product! Not the case! Smaller than an aspirin size of product, I can't carry that! $10 not very well spent for me!!!
This product has petroleum and is toxic. It contains 12 potentially harmful ingredients Also it does cause tingling contrary to the statement in the ad. It feels very sticky and uncomfortable on my lips...returning this fast!
