Being very cautious when buying things online is definately my thing!! I don't have a lot of money to waste on items that don't work as advertised, so..I read all reviews I csn before spending money. I will say, I have been led astray by some reviewers who were probably paid by the company. THIS COMPANY IS SOLID!!! I purchased one initially, a clear. Have tried other plumpers...they sting, dry your lips out or just don't work. I have purchased continually from this site for about 3 years now. The night lip oil is Amazing and actually helps plump besides making my lips softer. I have at least 6 colors and when they bring out new colors try to purchase at least one; but. I do have my favorites. Sun Diego looks Amazing with a little tan..or not ..in Spring/Summer months. Hey is gorgeous in Fall and Winter months with darker clothing being more prevalent. They both have a little fleck of shine and I cannot tell you how many people ask what kind of lipstick I use!!! BTW City Lips, I need to be on Commish!!!! Just try one...you will be so happy you did and please tell City Lips to hire me!!! Lol (kidding,) Gsbrielle

To me it's 4-1/2 stars, so I just made it 5-stars. I do love City Lips; I've had a good 20-year experience with City Lips. It is very moisturizing, has some plumping properties, but nothing extreme. I loved City's discontinued "matte formula" because it lasted, and after it dried, I would put on one of many City Lip's, nude, sparkly, transparent colors over it. It is a good product; I only wish the color would last longer. Obviously, I'm happy enough to be a frequent, and return customer. It feels wonderful on my lips - and the clear, I feel gives you more of the plumping effect, probably because the pigmented colors probably takes away a bit from the true-clear plumping formula. City Lip's feels amazing on your lips. Use the Clear every day & night! I always notice a a wonderful feeling of moisture that no other lip product can compare with, and a small plumping effect - no tingle or burn. I always have about 10-tubes, and use it daily. If I go out to an event, I may use a matte color, let it dry, and ALWAYS apply City Lip's on top. Sometimes I wear the light transparent colors alone, they have a nice range of colors, and I always, and I do mean always have them in my beauty-arsenal!

I am an avid lip balm user, one could say that I have an addiction. I typically have two different options on my nightstand at any given date. But since I tried City Lips Night Oil I have only one! I have repurchased this twice now and gifted to my daughter and a friend. I cannot say enough about it! The consistency is amazing and one swipe on top and bottom lip is all I need! Unfortunately I wake up a lot during the night but I never feel like my lips are dry or that I need to reapply. In the morning my lips feel unbelievably soft and I do not reach for lip balm until I am applying my makeup for the day. I learned how miraculous oil was for your skin so it only makes sense that your lips would be no different. This will change your lips for the better, I cannot recommend it enough- oh and the smell is divine like fresh vanilla cupcakes!
