I like it
This did what I was hoping it would do. As I get older, my lips have lost volume they really couldn't afford to lose. Lip injections make me nervous, even if they weren't so expensive. I've been searching for a lip product that wouldn't just give me an hour of poof then leave me with cracked dry lips. I remembered reading about City lips a few years ago and thought I'd give it a try…didn't hurt that I caught them on their BOGO sale. Within minutes my lips were flushed a pretty pink, super smooth, and they were definitely fuller! Also, there was no pain, and only a very, very slight tingling that lasted maybe a second or two…fast enough that I could have imagined it. I took my before picture immediately before applying City lips and the after was about 2-3 minutes later. My lips feel conditioned and the thick gloss makes me think I won't need to apply it 100 times a day or suffer the consequences. Definitely happy to have purchased!

the BEST lip plumper
i actually think this is an incredible lip product and i feel like the bad reviews are from people confused by the term "lip plumper". normally when products are called lip plumpers they sting and irritate the lips causing them to be red and swollen. this isnt like that so the results wont be as dramatic. instead of irritating your lips this product chooses to deeply hydrate your lips to give a natural plumper appearance. i dont mind the tingling of lip plumpers personally but i do think theyre a bit harsh. i like thag with this my lips just look and feel healthier. my lips are medium sized and prone to being dry and chapped. when my lips are dry they get a bit shriveled and look smaller than they actually are. when i use this even if its only once my lips feel plump and super soft the whole day. i love using this under liquid lipstick but its great on its own as well. the only two negatives i see with this are 1) it is very sticky. it does dry down somewhat but just be prepared for that. if you hate sticky gloss then youll definitely hate this. 2) i do think $35 for a gloss is a bit steep but if you view as more skincare for your lips and not a makeup item it makes the price seem better or at least thats what i say to make myself feel better about it.
overall i think as long as your expectations are realistic then you wont be disappointed. i really like this product.

I was introduced to City Beauty by one of my favorite YouTubers "Graceful Beauty" the first product I tried was the City Lips gloss and I absolutely LOVE IT! I had a very bad reaction to a chemical peel that got on my lips and nothing would soothe or heal them. I tried all types of topical balms, ointments, oils etc. and the dryness and peeling wouldn't stop. I got a tube of clear City Lips and after an overnight application my lips were soothed. After about three days of wearing the gloss during the day and overnight my lips were healed! I was blessed with thick lips so the plumping wasn't my concern however I even noticed a plumper pout! I have about 4 tubes of this stuff it's amazing as a pre treatment before any lipstick or as a topper for an amazing glossy look! I'm just waiting for City Beauty to go on "Afterpay" so I can really go crazy and buy some of their other products! My next review will be on City Beauty's Complete Skin Restore. I've been using it for three months now and I have seen a REAL difference in the firmness and overall radiance of my skin. I have that on auto ship and it's definitely a WINNER!

I have super dry, flaky lips that peel no matter what the weather is like outside. they're also prone to cracking and bleeding very easily. I grew up in pennsylvania and moved to san diego expecting it to get much better, but unsurprisingly it didn't. likely poor genetics. I drink tons of water, I don't have dry skin anywhere else, and i've tried EVERYTHING! when I say everything, I mean everything from vaseline to prescriptions from dermatologists to every sephora product offered and nothing compares to this. it doesn't burn like traditional plumpers do, maybe only a slight tingle on the first use. but after a few weeks of using this my lips are SO SOFT and moisturized. I can't lie, they have still peeled but it has been significantly less and it hasn't been painful like it usually is. this gives my lips a healthy fullness that i've never had and honestly only thought i'd have if I got injections, which I don't want to do. this won't give you the lip injection look, but it will make the best of your natural lips. it's not super sticky, it doesn't get that weird white residue where your lips and mouth meet, and there is no overpowering smell. I can't believe I waited so long to try this.

First off, I love this product! Before I begin, I was skeptical too, but with free shipping and their return policy I was willing to give it a try. As a 30-something I've always had smaller lips, and mostly I wanted to focus on providing ample hydration, smoothing lines, and if this product plumped my lips - great. This product did all 3 within the first use and has only improved with continued use. I've been using 2-3x daily for the last 2 weeks and my lips look and feel the best they've looked since high school! The first time I used I felt a lot of tingling and my lips got quite pink and plump! With the 2nd application the effect was much reduced, less tingling and less plump, which made me wonder if I had a reaction the first time... OK. Throw away all lip stains, balms, or sticks. This is it! The best product ever. I had dry lips for sometime once I reached menopause stage and nothing was working. A friend recommended city lips to me and the rest is history. I normally like clear but his time I took a chance on the matte Mulberry, and oh wow! is it a beauty. I received instant compliments at the grocery store when I walked in. This product does what it says. Plumps, hydrates, and moisturizes. If you are concerned that the matte will look dry, don't be, it is infused with many ingredients so your lips will not look dry or cracked like some brands of matte do. I wear this all day and it remains fresh looking. To make it look more sexy, just put the clear city lips over your matte and you will have a set of lips to die for. I also use all the other product lines as well. Took 10 years off my age in 3 weeks.

Ok. I NEVER write reviews. I actually hate reviews as I inherently believe they are rigged. However, I have to hand it to this company. It actually does what it claims. Those videos you see with the lips getting fuller - its true. It's due to an irritant. The irritant works by aggravating your skin to a state of inflammation - which, in turn, looks like puffed up lips. Indeed, that is what people want. It is temporary - which the company makes crystal clear (thank you City Lips for being honest). One thing to note is that if you are affectionate and like to kiss people or your children, please be aware that it may leave red welts on their cheek or forehead. It seems there is an ingredient in the formula that is an irritant. **CITY LIPS - I really LOVE your product - please figure out the science behind what makes a persons face flare up when kissed with a City Lips product. **
