Love the product itself as it stays on my lips and keeps them hydrated as someone that suffers from dry lips. However, the color selection is not great. Too many shimmer colors. Too many odd and warm colors and not many that suit us cool-toned women. I'd prefer more sheer colors like a clear with a hint of red or more dusty rose and plum type colors. I'm limited on what I can wear of these and not a huge fan of my lips sparkling.
Ascorbic acid is not vitamin c, it's synthetic and lab made real vitamin c is acerola, amla, camu camu, rose hips, kadaku plum, Citrus bioflavinoids, papaya and beets, grapefruit, guava, tomatoes, Brussels, red peppers, cantaloupe, red cabbage, purple cabbage.
At first I felt it was drying out my skin. But I stuck with it and now (3 weeks) I see some improvement. Not my favorite City Beauty product, but it's doing okay. I took advantage of the add one special which helps since I have a tube at my work desk and my evening reading chair. Otherwise I forget. :-)
I am always skeptical, but willing to give an honest try to products that seem like they might be worth the effort. Thus product bought my eye(lid) right away. I tried it, and am surprised. Though not perfect, there is something to this stuff that seems to make a difference. I like it and will continue to use it. Recommend it if you have droopy upper lids. Give it a try, you might be surprised.
I tried the lip therapy for a couple of weeks, I should have used it longer to give a complete review. My biggest drawback was I couldn't wear it under makeup. So, I wasn't getting the treatment twice a day as recommended. It might work if it's used as suggested! I will say I've had GREAT customer service with City Beauty and I love their Lip Plumper gloss!!
I have been using it for a couple of weeks which I am not sure is really long enough to have a strong opinion. I must admit to not using it twice a day religiously. I do like that it is light and non-greasy. I will use this tube and make a decision about buying it again after more use.
Its too soon to tell on the lip fix but the night oil is a must have! Between the Night Oil and the City Lips my lips are better than ever. I cannot do without these two products. I was a smoker and then quit, so the lines are there but not nearly as bad as they could have been. This is due to City LIps and Night Oil. Before City Beauty I went crazy looking for something to help and tried so many different things. None of them worked! City Beauty has found the answer. A must have.
I have not used the mask long. My face does feel hydrated when I wake, but I have not seen any changes in fine lines and wrinkles. I will continue to use and hope for improvement.
I have been using the product for about 2 weeks now, so results are not exactly super obvious yet, but I can tell things are firming up on my lids a bit. Hope to see more results as time goes on with continued use.
I apply at nightly and find it silky and hydrating. I have one lip line. I was trying to get rid of that has persisted but no new lines. I have been using the product for about 10 months nightly.
Haven't seen dramatic results, but this does seem to do what it claims. My only complaint is the smell is a little weird. Otherwise the gloss and night oil seem like great products!
I love this oil, I've been using it since came out. I really can see and feel a difference. The packaging however is bad. I shouldn't have to take needle nose pliers to the packaging to get the last 1/3 out. Please, PLEASE put this in an airless pump. I would love to not have to decant it into one myself.
I am a big fan of city lips and the city lips night oil, so I was very keen to try this cream. I think it works pretty well at pumping up the skin around my mouth, but my problem is the price point. The tube is so very small and I feel like I could go through the entire thing in just a couple weeks if I used it twice a day. I hope it becomes more popular so that the price comes down.
I am pleased with the City Lips Line Therapy. I'm using it primarily on the upper lip and it does seem to be moisturizing and softening the skin to visibly reduce the appearance of any lines.
I have been using the Lip Line lotion for about a month. I wouldn't say that my 72 year old lips are noticeably different, but I have enjoyed the smoothness with which it is applied. I will say that since using it my lipstick is less likely to "bleed."
I would have given this product 5 stars but it is a bit expensive…I found for my Lip Lines it worked immediately to smooth…I use with the Lip Gloss too…Both products are game changer and I am 76.5 and tried so may other products with no improvements. I will continue to buy both products from City Beauty too.
At first I didn't like this night oil, I wasn't expecting it to be tacky feeling. After using it a few nights I changed my mine. I didn't notice the sticky feeling anymore. Love the smell and the way it glides on. It's the only lip moisturizer that keeps my lips moisturized all day. I plan on repurchasing it again. Glad I tried it.
I have been using City Lips Clear and have ordered several of the other colors. I have only received one tube that made my lips tingle. The others seem to be a great moisturizer and I do not have to use the product as often during the day as I did initially. I had hoped the product would help to plump my lips more (as advertised) and help with the fine lines around them. But, I have not seen that results. I normally do not give reviews but, I have been using the product for over a year and find that I really do like it otherwise, I would not be a return customer.
Love using before bed time every night. My lips have never been so soft and moist. Results last all day, no more dry lips! Product last a long time too.
I have been using this product for quite awhile now. I use clear a lot but have also bought many of the colors- even the latest ones. I love how this makes my lips feel- keeps them moist and supple most of the day. However, I have not seen a lot of lip plumping. But that does not discourage me from buying this great product.
