I have been using City Lips for months now and no results at all. A waste of money!

Not worth it
I got my city lip in clear. It
NO PLUMP & messes anything under or over it.
First of all - NO PLUMP; second, DOESN'T LAST at all; third, NO WAY helps OVER TIME (I tried); fourth-eighth (and I could go on….), MESSY, STICKY, BLEEDS, ACCENTUATES LINES; ruins anything put on lips under or over. How many studies, people, their ages, and who did the studies & when…… because I canNOT fathom how they reached these 90 percentiles positive results. Seems to me, it's more about jumping on the bandwagon and getting carried away by the smart media, ads, and WISHFUL THINKING so many of us can't seem to give up. That, or the HIGH PRICE TAG means quality & results to TOO MANY, or likely the two combined. SHINE is deceptive and so is the hype here. There seem to be a good number of negative reviews, that's for sure. I continue to try some of their other products influencers praise, but am getting to the point that I believe NOTHING on social media anymore - certainly not all the sales pitches (which have rapidly taken over all aspects of SOCIAL media, like the PIED PIPER)! Can't comment on other products yet, but losing faith as I go - in media, studies, AND so called unbiased reviews. Too bad I'm going on 72 & can't seem to keep hoping🤷
No results after a month
I purchased TWO City Beauty City Lips - Clear lip gloss products under order: ORD-105035441 / CB8747395 on 03/09/2025. These were expensive products at $33 a piece, with an order total of $70.46. Shipping was prompt and the products arrived safely and that I very much appreciate. However, I have many complaints about the product itself. I have used the lip gloss consistently for over a month now, at least once a day, including on weekends. Sometimes, I will reapply once or twice throughout the day. I have not noticed ANY plumping of my lips as promised. Your ad stated - "A deeply-conditioning plumping gloss shown to visibly enhance lip volume in as little as ten minutes. A must-have for anyone wanting noticeably softer, healthier, less-wrinkled lips." I have seen absolutely NO plumping despite my constant use. There has been no noticeably softer, healthier, less-wrinkled lips. I am 59. I have a youthful appearance and my wrinkles are minor so it should have been an easy fix and very noticeable. Not so. Additionally, the smell of this product is horrible and does not dissipate easily. The taste, if my tongue happens to roll over my lips, is disgusting. The truth of the matter is that the statements about this product are lies and I will never purchase it again. I will also be leaving a negative feedback on the product on the website or on Facebook, anywhere that I can, so that people will be aware of the truth before they purchase.

This is ridiculous.. you guys are ridiculous. I am so dissatisfied and I plan on telling everyone about it. First of all, the product was swapped. The initial tube of lip stuff I got was awesome.. the one in the silver packaging!! It really worked. That is, when the company was formerly city cosmetics. Apparently they took the good product with them. I didn't know that and ordered more. All of a sudden, I get some fancy box with some gold tube of lip stuff that is completely different from the original one and did nothing. It was a $30 ineffective lip gloss. I just feel like the whole company is fraudulent and it has left a sour taste in my mouth. Then, when I returned everything, they only gave me half my refund. I called and called and followed up, and had to call again and follow up and now I'm being told that it is going to be resolved. It's dispicable... it's all a bunch of baloney and I am very unhappy. Also, when ordering, it's very cryptic, and by accident you can order more and then have to get your money back for that, too. Scam artists.
