difference between clear and colored
I have used the clear in the past, love it, so ordered one colored. I put it on awhile ago. It is very runny, bleeds beyond my lips. The clear is sticky, and adheres well. I would not buy a colored one again.

Nice Product
Product makes my lips soft, but I can't say that it makes them look larger, which I wasn't necessarily expecting. I use it at night only, because it doesn't mix well with the lip color product I wear during the day.
Very Questionable
Goes on initially very well. An hour or so later it dried lips out...broke out in red blotches above upper lip and below lower lip. Horrible itching! How are folks seeing this product as good??? I'm not understanding it at all. Extremely misinformed by reviews!! Not natural ingredients as advertised.
Not sure
I do already have small lips and it did work a little bit for me but I was wondering if there's something maybe a little more advanced or is that it. Meaning I guess is there something a little more powerful for people like my lips.

The lip gloss is very thick and sticky so it is very difficult to feel natural with it. I will return it and I wanted to make sure that other women knew because I would have never ordered it if I had known it was so thick and sticky. I just hope they will take it back
Too sticky. No plump
This does not provide a plumping effect for me. I find the formula to be sticky

Plumping lipgloss
Just a basic lipgloss / did nothing . It did not plump my lips at all . Should have stuck with the brand I already used.
City Limits Plumping Lip Gloss
While I think the color was lovely and the lip gloss did not make my lips feel sticky, this product did not, IN ANY WAY, shape or form, did NOT enhance, change, alter or plump my lips AT ALL. I applied it, waited over 30 minutes and nothing. I even applied the lip gloss a second time, as I was really hopeful (and I spent over $35.00 for this!!!) but, STILL NOTHING WHATSOEVER. NO CHANGE AT ALL to the condition/appearance of my lips. I'm 54 yrs old & have been wearing makeup for a VERY long time and am TOTALLY aware of the appearance of my lips. This product is a complete waste of money! You can get an absolute equal product at your local drug store or even a dollar store for a tiny fraction of the cost, i.e. LESS THAN $10!! Do not waste your money on this product!!
Very Disappointed
Can't recommend it. I've been using this for over a month now, twice sometimes 3 times a day with no difference whatsoever. Would not buy again. Save your money

Poor quantity
The amount of gloss that was given/I purchased, twice after my original purchase was depleted. This needs to be addressed! #Dissatisfied. Most likely will not purchase again.
Waste of money and overrated
First time I tried this lip gloss it was gifted to me. Lips did actually plump up a little bit, but they don't stay plumped for very long however the sheer color is nice. Then I decided to order myself at sales price. One free etc. It took literally almost 2 weeks to reach me, I was given a tracking number that didn't work. Company appears to be disorganized; I sent an email no response, after about 10 phone calls trying to reach somebody. "High call volume". I finally spoke to a woman she said, seems like order was forgotten. They have a warehouse in CA which is where I am located. I was told I would receive my shipment 2 days later it actually showed up the following day. It was a pain in the behind to have to babysit my shipment and the product is mediocre at best. Waste of money and time.
Moist but no plump
This product does keep my lips moisturized, but it does not plump my lips which is disappointing.
Early days but disappointed
It does work but it's not true that it doesn't sting. It does. I don't have sensitive skin and have never reacted to any products before. It's feels just like a regular bee venom gloss and the promise that it wouldn't feel like that is exactly why I bought into this product. No one wants stinging red lips. I can't deny it has a plumping effect which is very noticeable, but my lips go bright red and my lip line looks like it's bleeding. My boyfriend came home and asked if I'd burned my mouth. It's fantastic they offer a money back guarantee and I would have taken advantage of this but living in the UK I've already paid more in shipping and customs tax that the product retails for. Such a shame, I've been so excited about receiving it and had such high expectations. It may be the one for others but not for me.
No plumping effect
I received my first order of City Lights clear lip gloss 4 days ago and was very happy to give this product a try. My goals were to 1) enjoy the stated lip plumping effects advertised and 2) hopefully have lip moisture improved (over my dependency on regular lip balm applications). I apply City Lights gloss a minimum of 4x/day (after meals & b/f bed) and have noticed absolutely NO lip plumping effects whatsoever. I have however been impressed with how long my lip moisture is lasting following each application. The product is very, very sticky but that was anticipated given the level of gloss evident from the promotional video information. So, I'm extremely disappointed in having zero plumping from the product but I'm happy enough with the lip moisture increase I'm feeling. As the plumping effect seems the primary marketing point, I would not recommend this product.
not enough in tube to know if continual use works
How long does one tube last? Using CITY Lips 2 to 3 times a day AS WELL AS applying it at night before bedtime, the tube lasts from 4 to 6 weeks. I saw this...I don't think mine will last a week if I use it 3 times a day. Brand new I had to swirl the wand to get enough to put on my lips. I don't know what the deal is but I held off using it again because I need it for one event coming up , so I will wait to use it that weekend so there is enough. Don't know if I got a bad batch or what. I don't want to say I would or would not recommend this to a friend, in case I just got a bad one that isn't typical. I put no just in case the amount is so small and it is the norm.
Not satisfied
City lips is not really what i expected. It does not go on very smooth and leaves apinkish outline around my mouth. Hard to take off. Any suggestions????
I purchased the pink...
I purchased the pink nude. The photos look pink but in reality it's quite peachy looking. Not what I was expecting!
