Works well but...

Product works well. Container is difficult to use. Full tube with broken spout. I wish it came in s more user friendly dispenser for arthritis hands.

I haven't noticed a wonderful difference yet I hoping I will soon. I've been using it for several weeks now. I use all of the Citybeauty facial products.

The tube was supposed to be for a month-barely lasted 2 full weeks - I did like it!!

Meh

It's not that effective and does cause some mild burning/tingling sensation. It wasn't worth the $ to me.

Like/Dislike

I knew City Lips wouldn't plump my lips, as no product ever has. That said, I didn't use it day and night consistently, so I'm giving it another try, because I love how moist it makes my lips feel. The one issue that I do have is when I went to order, it said the price was $31.50--that's down $3.50, which of course made me happy. However, once you get into the site, it is only then that you find out that that is the subscription price. So, though I didn't want to, I did the subscription, which also offered free shipping. However, as I added to my order, it kept telling me that I was short and had to spend more before I unlocked the free shipping. I feel like this is false marketing. I'm being a sucker and will do it this one time, which is well over my budget. If you advertise one price, then that's the price that it should be. Also, if you say that there is free shipping with a subscription, you should mean it--or say that you have to order a quota to get that free shipping. A third misleading thing was getting 15% off, if I gave you my email address. I didn't want another entity having my email, but I went ahead to get the savings. There was no 15% off that I saw, unless I missed it. So, this time I will order it at the price it is, because it moisturizers my lips nicely. After that, I'll look for something else that works and is geared toward women over sixty rather than the younger models with much fuller lips to begin with than I have. I wasn't blessed in that department.

My experience so far

I have purchased the following colors: Clear (in multiples and gifted some), Cherry, Watermelon, Midnight Sparkle, Sun Diego, Nude York, and Crimson. Clear: will purchase again. Cherry: is a bright red, I like it. Would like to see a darker red. Watermelon: is like applying Pepto Bismol. To make things worse, it settles in every lip line. It's my fault; the color is exactly what it looks like online, but I was hopeful it would look good. I have tried it a few times, and it is the worst. Midnight Sparkle: I am not crazy about glitter on my lips, but this color will stay in my collection. It is a step up from clear but not dramatic. Nude York: It end up in the trash, not a good color for me. Sun Diego: I do not like the color, but I keep it in my purse. I use it when I am out and about to finish it, but I will not repurchase. Crimson: I prefer opaque, in the models it looks as described, "cool-toned deep rose", I am fair to Med, and it looks almost brown on me. The tube is darker than depicted on the website pictures. I use it a lot, I wish it were a deep rose, then I would have multiple tubes in different locations (purse, and my two jobs, backup tube). I have considered Pink Nude, but it might just make me look like I don't have any lips; it looks so light in the picture. I bet it is still better than Watermelon :( When it comes to the plumping effect, it is minimal even with daily use. When I reapply, I get no plumping effect, not even the optical illusion. What I like about the formula is the pillowy feeling.

Not sure yet

I'm 63 - and have had droopy eyelids for several years now. When I saw the ad for this - I thought- can't hurt. And with my son's wedding coming up (it was this past weekend) - but over a month before it was to occur. It took a little longer to arrive than I expected, and cost more than advertised (obviously because I'm in Canada) - but thought I'd try it anyway. I gave an "average" score because now just over a month later - I am MAYBE just starting to see "some" improvement. Not enough that anyone noticed. I'm still on my first tube (I got 2) & I use it every morning & night. Hopefully, by the end of the second tube I will see a great improvement - but since I can't afford to get more (due to the price difference), if there IS a marked difference - will likely return to my pre-use state. Wish I'd taken before pics - but I do have photos of me from prior to using anyway. Let me see how it is after tube number 2 - or maybe before I get to that. I don't know how long this stuff actually takes to work. We

Hood lifter?

So I have some of the worst hanging eyelids for someone my age… I'm 50, I can't believe how tired it makes me look. I'm constantly on the hunt for products that will help tighten them and lift them before I end up having a laser surgery. Upon using City beauty, I noticed that the cream is really thick so right away it has a lifting effect, but as soon as it dries, the eyelid goes back down . And the cream is so thick, that I felt like I had to put a lot on just to smooth it around on my eyes, it doesn't smooth very well. You have to dab dab dab. Overall, the product did not sting my eyes and the lifting effect lasted for a few minutes, but overall, the cost for such a little tube with no lasting results after one tube, not even a little bit, makes me continue to look for the winning product. Unfortunately, this eyelid lifting treatment did very little for the appearance of my eyes.
