I'm a City Beauty!
I was introduced to City Beauty by one of my favorite YouTubers "Graceful Beauty" the first product I tried was the City Lips gloss and I absolutely LOVE IT! I had a very bad reaction to a chemical peel that got on my lips and nothing would soothe or heal them. I tried all types of topical balms, ointments, oils etc. and the dryness and peeling wouldn't stop. I got a tube of clear City Lips and after an overnight application my lips were soothed. After about three days of wearing the gloss during the day and overnight my lips were healed! I was blessed with thick lips so the plumping wasn't my concern however I even noticed a plumper pout! I have about 4 tubes of this stuff it's amazing as a pre treatment before any lipstick or as a topper for an amazing glossy look! I'm just waiting for City Beauty to go on "Afterpay" so I can really go crazy and buy some of their other products! My next review will be on City Beauty's Complete Skin Restore. I've been using it for three months now and I have seen a REAL difference in the firmness and overall radiance of my skin. I have that on auto ship and it's definitely a WINNER!

I have super dry, flaky lips that peel no matter what the weather is like outside. they're also prone to cracking and bleeding very easily. I grew up in pennsylvania and moved to san diego expecting it to get much better, but unsurprisingly it didn't. likely poor genetics. I drink tons of water, I don't have dry skin anywhere else, and i've tried EVERYTHING! when I say everything, I mean everything from vaseline to prescriptions from dermatologists to every sephora product offered and nothing compares to this. it doesn't burn like traditional plumpers do, maybe only a slight tingle on the first use. but after a few weeks of using this my lips are SO SOFT and moisturized. I can't lie, they have still peeled but it has been significantly less and it hasn't been painful like it usually is. this gives my lips a healthy fullness that i've never had and honestly only thought i'd have if I got injections, which I don't want to do. this won't give you the lip injection look, but it will make the best of your natural lips. it's not super sticky, it doesn't get that weird white residue where your lips and mouth meet, and there is no overpowering smell. I can't believe I waited so long to try this.

First off, I love this product! Before I begin, I was skeptical too, but with free shipping and their return policy I was willing to give it a try. As a 30-something I've always had smaller lips, and mostly I wanted to focus on providing ample hydration, smoothing lines, and if this product plumped my lips - great. This product did all 3 within the first use and has only improved with continued use. I've been using 2-3x daily for the last 2 weeks and my lips look and feel the best they've looked since high school! The first time I used I felt a lot of tingling and my lips got quite pink and plump! With the 2nd application the effect was much reduced, less tingling and less plump, which made me wonder if I had a reaction the first time... But since then I have been enjoying how the product looks and feels. It lasts hours and doesn't run, it stays right where I put it. I can't wait to try the matte blush nude colors!

OK. Throw away all lip stains, balms, or sticks. This is it! The best product ever. I had dry lips for sometime once I reached menopause stage and nothing was working. A friend recommended city lips to me and the rest is history. I normally like clear but his time I took a chance on the matte Mulberry, and oh wow! is it a beauty. I received instant compliments at the grocery store when I walked in. This product does what it says. Plumps, hydrates, and moisturizes. If you are concerned that the matte will look dry, don't be, it is infused with many ingredients so your lips will not look dry or cracked like some brands of matte do. I wear this all day and it remains fresh looking. To make it look more sexy, just put the clear city lips over your matte and you will have a set of lips to die for. I also use all the other product lines as well. Took 10 years off my age in 3 weeks.

Great - but don't kiss with it!
Ok. I NEVER write reviews. I actually hate reviews as I inherently believe they are rigged. However, I have to hand it to this company. It actually does what it claims. Those videos you see with the lips getting fuller - its true. It's due to an irritant. The irritant works by aggravating your skin to a state of inflammation - which, in turn, looks like puffed up lips. Indeed, that is what people want. It is temporary - which the company makes crystal clear (thank you City Lips for being honest). One thing to note is that if you are affectionate and like to kiss people or your children, please be aware that it may leave red welts on their cheek or forehead. It seems there is an ingredient in the formula that is an irritant. **CITY LIPS - I really LOVE your product - please figure out the science behind what makes a persons face flare up when kissed with a City Lips product. **

I must say I purchased The City Lips a year ago because I had started noticing fine lines around my mouth and lips were thinning. I used City Lips for 7 months and I noticed a big difference in my lips after a week or less in my lips. Truthfully I will have to say things really started getting tight for me after being laid off from my job and being unemployed I could not afford to buy the extra things I needed/wanted for myself and I quit using City Lips for 3 months and I noticed the lines again... so I ask my sons when any special occasion such as my birthday or Mother's Day would roll around and they wanted to but me something I ask for money so I could start purchasing again and I have to say I noticed the BIG difference again in my lips!! I will never quit using again unless I'm to the point that I just can't and hoping that doesn't happen again!! YES I would most definitely recommend this product to a Family and friends to purchase City Lips. Awesome product and I'm trying to purchase some of your other products!! I forgot to mention I have very dry lips and my skin is dry no matter what I've used every product that's sold and I've not found anything that really helps with my skin so I'm excited about trying these new products!! OMG it really works!!!
Bought this on FB and it came in 3 days. I was cautiously optimistic...I live in the desert in Idaho, and there is very low humidity or moisture. My lips have been badly chapped all winter, regardless of the many products I've used. Yesterday, all day long, my lips were burning. I got home, and there was my City Lips. I noticed immediately that it smells like vanilla extract - yum! I put it on, and at first, I thought it was sticky, but that passed in about a minute. Within 10 minutes, the pain in my lips was gone! What a relief! I put it on twice before bed, and at 3am when I woke up to go potty. :) Woke up at 6am and checked the mirror - STUNNED! All signs of chapped lips GONE. They looked happy and healthy again, and feel great! I truly can't believe how fast it worked to heal my lips!! I do not hesitate to ship stuff back - I'm a tough customer - but no way am I sending this back. I'm already looking at other colors to purchase. 10,000 thumbs up! :)
No More Dry Lined Lips! 👄
I received my five tubes of clear plumping gloss today.....and have been using it constantly! My lips are always dry and for years I've been applying tube moisturises and pots of lip gloss ALL day long. They were temporary fixes but did not keep my lips moist, and my lips continued to be dry. I already love City Lips, it is lovely and dense when you apply it, not thin like some. Once you apply it, it is there for hours! The lines in my lips diminished greatly over the day and night and my lips were moist and not dry. I'm hoping that the effect will become more permanent after regular use as stated, from the feel of it I'm confident. Lately I have tried so many lip plumpers that work to an extent but are stingers! City Lips felt fresh and NO burn. I am definitely going to try a colour next time as I know it will last in my lips. I would recommend this product for any person who wants to smooth their lips and stop the constant dryness. Packaged beautifully and a high quality product. Five stars!!
