My eyes are sensitive and are allergic to this product. I asked via email to return the product and was told they are "not equipped to accept returns." This is contrary to their published money back guarantee. They offered to refund of 30%. I am not happy
This really is a great lip gloss that does make your lips look fuller! I usually wear matte lipstick because I don't like a sticky feeling on my lips. Though this does produce a 'wet' finish, the look is amazing. :D
This hasn't made my lips fuller at all (I'm on my third tube), but I keep buying it b/c it's the only thing I've found that actually kept my lips from getting super chapped and bloody during the winter.
Works good to plump the lips, still waiting for lines to go away. It's slight improvement, so going to buy 2 more and see with prolonged use it will erase lines further
I was disappointed when I first used it then I realized I was looking for a miracle. When I truly looked at how much improvement it made I knew I re-order it.
I will give it four stars. Why? I like the plumping effect, wow! Incredible! But at the end of the day, my lips are cracking :( I will keep using it once in a while
I bought two of the different nude shades, and they were not kidding. They are nude, as in they look completely clear. But I'm not going to return them because I love City Lips, and they give the exact same benefits as the clear!
I've been using City Lips for approx 3 wks. now & I'm not sure if it's plumping my thin lips yet! BUT, it IS helping my lines above my lips, which bother me more than any other lines on my 61 yr old face. (I never smoked) So I will probably be ordering again soon!
Love how it makes my lips feel. All my life,48 years, I've had dry , chapped lips year round. I haven't experienced chapped lips since i started using City lips about 6 months ago. It also makes my lips look a little younger. The "after" pic is 10 minutes after applying, then blotted. I tried to hold my mouth exactly the same in both pics. So this pic is as honest as possible. This is wearing nude York, i do wish the colors showed up a lot more. Beautiful colors in the bottle, but the color disappears on the lips.
I have been on the fence about ordering this but I finally broke down and tried it. I always check out the reviews. Just received it and applied it immediately. In the time it took me to drive across town, maybe ten minutes, my lips are noticeably fuller and rosy. Not drastically, but definitely visibly fuller. We shall see how it works over time. I am pleased with the results so far.
Just received my first City Lips gloss. No tingle or anything when putting it on. Did notice an immediate slight plumping, then a short while later more plumping. I would have given it 5 stars, but I am REALLY looking for a plumping lip balm that I can use everyday....hint, hint.....(I don't wear lipstick or gloss everyday)
I've been using the clear lip plumper for about a month. While I don't love the stickiness of it, and I can't say that it's made my lips noticeably fuller, or that it's diminished any of the lines around my upper lip, I can say FOR SURE that it's the only thing I've found that has relieved the dry chapped skin on my lips!! I can finally wear lipstick again without it glopping up in the dry skin edges. And, it softens that skin so that when I exfoliate, it actually comes off without stripping and making my lips bleed. I'll buy it again just for how much more healthy my lips feel. Stickiness and all!!
I love how my lips feel when I wear the glosses. I am not one to wear make up very often so I save the colors for when I do. However, I prefer to wear something with a little color and not just plain. However, I can't seem to get those anymore. Very disappointing!
I like the tingling and shine that City Lips provides and gives you a feeling that your lips look slightly fuller and it hydrates! I gave four stars only because of the thickness and unpleasant sticky feeling. If it gets on your fingers, you can't just wipe it as you would normally do. You need literally to wash it or use a wipe. In overall, I like it
10 star and amazing! My purae was stolen shortly after my purchase but will order again when I can afford. Told all ny friends and family that this is a miracle!
Have been using this for about two weeks and I think I do notice a difference! I am using diligently (3 x day) and I took a "before" picture with a plan to take an "after" around one month so I will keep you posted. I do not notice any tingling in my lips when I put it on so I hope it is working! Regardless, it is a great super shiny lip gloss and does feel hydrating.
I see a change in the overall plumpness of my lips. Am now trying it on lines above the lips to see if there is improvement. Will definitely keep using it
The product is amazing, however they recently changed their packaging. It's a lot more packaging and it seems like there is less product in the tube then before. I run out of product within about 4 to 6 weeks. Also, the packaging is a bit excessive. Less is more when it comes to our environment. Please reconsider your packaging.
The clear lip gloss mildly plumps my lips. It keeps them moisturized for about an hour before I have to put it on again. I think the price should be lower.
I really like what I am seeing in the use of City Lips. I have only been using this product only a week so my five star is waiting for better results. I love the feel of a city Lips though.
